Savoring the moments to refuel

We are reflecting together about the concept of time. Starting with just a little, and even that small step can make a difference.

Have you ever found that there never seems to be enough? Does time ever get away from you?

How do we, then, slow it down? Or savor it?

Small things add up.

Ideas have been coming to me like a rush of excited emotion at the most inopportune moments in the day — when I’m getting ready in the morning or trying to sleep at night, mid-day with tasks, I am gushing and flooding with so much depth and passion. I jot something down in my journal. And at times my mind goes blank. Like the tide coming in and out, will it flow out or will it pull back?

And then I remind myself, these entries will be short. Intentionally. Just glimpses.

Because I believe how deeply it matters.

Step One: A Moment of Clarity

I have been wanting to write for a long time. I've pondered what it could look like in this season, but it wasn't until this very moment I'm ready to move forward.

Can you relate to a moment of clarity in your life?

Where things that were elusive or tangled or confusing suddenly started to loosen their grip, and you were ready to walk into some steps of freedom? or healing? or growth?

My moment of clarity right now is realizing how much I love to write, wanting to support others who may benefit from reading, and knowing how I learn best is in small doses. I am a deep processor and I love to not have to rush -- to savor what I'm learning or reflecting on, to go at my own pace and soak it in.
